Brandenburg University of Technology

During his teaching and research assignment at the Chair of Design and Building Typology Norbert conceived and coordinated a series of design projects, seminars, research projects and field trips. This work included teaching architectural and urban design on all levels, ranging from 1st year to master thesis, on sites in London, Berlin, Cottbus, Verbania, Riga, Schwerin and Hamburg. The seminars engaged with problems of performativity and density, intelligent typologies, as well as with urban conflicts in the context of world heritage sites. The work at the chair resulted in a series of publications, conference contributions and exhibitions, among them a book on design teaching.
